The Holland Road originated as one of the regional networks of ERIH and passes an impressive number of heritage sites of trade, industry, technology, industry, water management and infrastructure. The Holland Road forms a link between the common heritage and to explore by bike, car, boat and on foot.
The Hoogovens Museum is part of this.
If you want to see some of the nice views of the surroundings of the museum (the locks, splendid view over the North Sea Canal at the Steel Plant, the nice fishing port of IJmuiden) the following route is recommended. You may go preferably by bicycle, but it is also possible by car and even by walking.
